Key Responsibilities

As a Forklift Operator on our night shift, you will be crucial to our warehouse logistics. Your primary duties will include:

  • Safely and efficiently operating a sit-down motorized forklift to load/unload trucks and move finished goods throughout our warehouse facility.
  • Carefully pulling pallets from production lines and placing them into designated storage locations as directed by our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Planning and executing the timely delivery of materials and supplies to production areas to maintain an uninterrupted workflow.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records by logging all movements of materials and finished products, and reporting any discrepancies you find.
  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment by vigilantly watching for pedestrian traffic and strictly adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Performing basic preventative maintenance on your equipment and promptly reporting any mechanical issues for repair.
  • Contributing to team goals by effectively prioritizing tasks and communicating clearly with supervisors and colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for reliable candidates who have a strong sense of responsibility. The following qualifications will help you succeed in this role:

  • A valid Forklift Operator certification is required.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical work experience.
  • The proven ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and with confidence.
  • Comfort with technology, specifically the ability to learn and navigate a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking and moving inventory.
  • A strong commitment to safety above all else, with an alert and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail for accurate loading, unloading, and documentation.
  • The ability to work independently during night hours while also being an effective team player.
  • While not required, 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or an Associate’s degree, is a preferred advantage.
