Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you’ll be the engine room of our overnight operations. Your primary focus will be getting stock from our delivery trucks directly onto the shelves, ensuring a fully stocked store for our morning customers.
Your key tasks will include:
- Safely unloading pallets from our daily afternoon deliveries.
- Moving stock efficiently from the storeroom, chillers, and freezers to the shop floor.
- Stocking shelves across all grocery areas, including ambient, chilled, and frozen goods.
- Operating equipment like ladder trolleys and pallet jacks with care and confidence.
- Working collaboratively with the wider night team to ensure all areas are filled and presentation is perfect before the store opens.
Qualifications
We’re looking for reliable, physically fit individuals who are ready to take on this important role. To be successful, you’ll need:
- A strong sense of reliability and commitment to your team and your shifts.
- The physical capability to handle regular heavy lifting, bending, and working in chilled environments.
- A positive, can-do attitude with plenty of enthusiasm and team spirit.
- The ability to commit to a roster that includes Friday and Saturday nights.
- The legal right to work permanently in New Zealand.
- The ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Previous experience is not essential, as we provide full training, but a love for fast-paced, physical work is a must.
