Key Responsibilities

In this versatile role, your duties will be vital to the daily comfort and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities may include:

  •  Serving meals and beverages to residents and assisting with kitchen cleaning and wash-up duties.
  • Performing a range of cleaning tasks throughout the home to ensure a pristine, safe, and comfortable living environment for all, following our established schedules and processes.
  • Processing all home and resident laundry with care, and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, including all equipment and storage facilities.

Qualifications

We value attitude and reliability as much as formal experience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A friendly, empathetic nature and a genuine desire to work within an aged care setting.
  • A demonstrated can-do attitude and flexibility to work across a 7-day roster.
  • Full availability for a range of shift times (no split shifts).
  • The legal right to work in Australia.
  • Successful applicants will be required to undergo an NDIS Worker Screening Check and provide proof of current Covid-19 and Influenza Vaccinations.
  • Previous hospitality, cleaning, or laundry experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right person.
