What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing quality cleaning services:Â You’ll clean resident areas, common spaces, and other parts of the village according to our standards.
- Assisting with laundry activities:Â You’ll help ensure linens and residents’ personal laundry are clean, fresh, and well cared for.
- Working independently:Â You’ll manage your schedule and tasks without constant supervision, trusted to get the job done right.
- Using chemicals and cleaning agents safely:Â You’ll have experience with cleaning products and know how to use them properly.
- Contributing to resident wellbeing:Â The work you do directly affects how comfortable and cared for our residents feel.
- Following WHS practices:Â You’ll maintain a safe working environment for yourself, residents, and your teammates.
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience working as a cleaner. You know how to clean properly and efficiently.
- Ability to manage schedules and work unsupervised. You’re reliable and can be trusted to handle your responsibilities independently.
- Experience and knowledge of chemicals and cleaning agents. You know which products to use where and how to use them safely.
- Good written and oral communication skills. You can communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Commitment to WHS. You take safety seriously and follow protocols to keep everyone safe.
- A current National Police Check or the ability to obtain one.
- Willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Functional Assessment as part of the hiring process.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
