Key Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Helper, you will ensure the smooth running of our kitchen through a variety of essential support tasks. Your primary duties will include:
- Operating dishwashers and performing detailed hand-washing and sanitizing of all dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining impeccable cleanliness by sanitizing all kitchen surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and storage areas.
- Receiving, unpacking, and correctly storing all food and supply deliveries.
- Assisting with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Removing kitchen garbage, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Setting up serving areas with clean dishes and flatware.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have:
- Authorization to work in Canada.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Physical stamina to be on your feet and perform tasks throughout your shift.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (early morning, day, evening, night, weekend) as required.
- No prior experience is necessary we are committed to training the right person.
