Key Responsibilities
You will be the operational heart of the laboratory, with duties that blend technical skill with client communication. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing accurate and reliable electrical safety tests on a variety of consumer products, primarily in the audio, home appliance, and lighting sectors.
- Providing clear, professional technical training and support to both internal colleagues and external clients to help them understand testing requirements and results.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and certifying test reports and documentation from clients to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Setting up and calibrating laboratory equipment, and actively communicating with suppliers and manufacturers to update project statuses and ensure smooth workflow.
- Taking responsibility for initiating and following through on corrective actions following internal or external audits. This involves identifying the root cause of non-conformances and working to implement solutions that prevent recurrence

Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience working in a laboratory environment, specifically with audio equipment, home appliances, or lighting products.
- Profound, practical experience in testing methodologies relevant to these product categories.
- A high awareness of quality standards and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin being a strong advantage for liaising with regional suppliers and clients.
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and a willingness to collaborate with a wider team.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with international safety standards (e.g., IEC, EN standards) is highly regarded.
- Experience with root cause analysis tools (like 5 Whys or Fishbone diagrams) and the corrective action process is a significant advantage.
