Key Responsibilities

In this blended learning and leadership role, you will be responsible for:

• Working hands-on with production staff to learn and ensure all production and dispatch schedules are met on time and to a consistent quality standard.
• Leading and coordinating a team to process customer orders efficiently by following clear production systems and meeting daily targets.
• Assisting the Production Supervisor in organizing daily tasks, including assigning staff to production, cleaning, and housekeeping duties to ensure all schedules and hygiene regimes are completed satisfactorily.
• Upholding and actively promoting safe working practices, quality control (QA) procedures, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Contributing to a disciplined, structured, and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the right attitude and foundational skills. The ideal person will have:

• Experience in a commercial laundry, production, or similar fast-paced operational environment is a distinct advantage.
• A Certificate III in Management or a related field is beneficial, but a proven ability to lead and a willingness to learn are paramount.
• A strong, fair personality with the ability to provide structure and discipline to a diverse team.
• High attention to detail, particularly concerning quality control.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
