Key Responsibilities
You will be the clinical expert in the field, responsible for driving the adoption and optimal use of our robotic surgical platform across Vancouver.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with the Clinical Sales Manager to maximize da Vinci® system utilization and drive instrument sales within the territory.
- Clinically manage and support surgical teams through comprehensive training, operating room integration, and ongoing guidance on advanced surgical applications.
- Serve as the primary clinical resource and expert on da Vinci® Surgery for surgeons and hospital staff across all core surgical specialties.
- Build and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to champion robotic surgery, expand the user base, and foster advocacy within the medical community.
- Plan and support regional sales and marketing events to raise awareness, promote procedure adoption, and demonstrate the system’s clinical benefits.
- Manage all administrative responsibilities with diligence, including tracking sales activities and submitting timely expense reports.
Qualifications
We are looking for a strategic and clinically savvy professional with a proven ability to influence and educate within a hospital setting.
- You must currently reside within or be willing to relocate to the Vancouver metropolitan area to effectively service this territory.
- A strong background in clinical sales, medical device support, or a related clinical role within the operating room environment is essential.
- Excellent presentation, training, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators.
- A strategic, results-oriented mindset with a documented ability to develop plans, drive adoption, and achieve sales targets.
- The self-motivation to work autonomously in the field while collaborating closely with the broader commercial team.
- A bachelor’s degree in a life science, business, or a related field is typically required.
