Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the vital link ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. Your daily tasks will be central to our distribution success.
- Safely transport fresh and frozen seafood products to our retail and wholesale customers across Atlantic Canada.
- Provide excellent, professional customer service during each delivery, representing the True North Salmon brand with pride.
- Carefully manage delivery schedules to meet deadlines in our fast-paced environment.
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driving logs.
- Work collaboratively with the distribution team to ensure efficient loading and unloading of products.
Qualifications
We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious individual to join our team. The right candidate will possess:
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.
- A minimum of two years of professional driving experience or a certificate from an accredited driver training school.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- The flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work hours.
It would be a strong asset if you have experience driving a vehicle equipped with air brakes.
