Key Responsibilities
As the face of our practice, you will manage the front desk with efficiency and a warm, professional demeanor.
- Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and maintain a welcoming, calm atmosphere in the reception area.
- Efficiently manage multiple provider calendars, schedule appointments, and confirm upcoming visits to optimize the patient flow.
- Answer phone calls promptly, address patient inquiries with knowledge and empathy, and manage all forms of patient communication.
- Verify dental insurance benefits, process pre-authorizations, and handle patient billing and payments with accuracy and discretion.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
- Provide essential administrative support to the clinical team to ensure the practice operates smoothly.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable candidate with a great attitude and relevant experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of experience in a dental front office setting is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with computers and experience with dental practice management software is strongly preferred.
- A solid understanding of dental insurance verification and billing procedures is a key advantage.
