Key Responsibilities
As a Driver Assistant, you are a crucial part of the final step in our customer’s journey. Your day will be active and rewarding, focused on teamwork and excellence.
- Work directly with our delivery drivers to transport large appliances safely to our customers’ homes.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service during every pickup and delivery.
- Carefully load and unload merchandise, assisting with minor hook-ups when needed.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure product quality and report any issues immediately.
- Strictly follow all health and safety procedures to protect yourself, your team, and our customers.
- Be a friendly and helpful representative of the Trail Appliances brand, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a team player who is ready to work hard and represent our values. The right person for this role will have:
- A valid driver’s license.
- The ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy merchandise, often weighing over 100 lbs, with the help of a partner.
- A professional and courteous demeanor, with strong communication skills.
- The flexibility to work a Tuesday to Saturday schedule.
- The ability to pass a security check and a physical fitness assessment.
