Key Responsibilities

As the leader of our public areas team, you’ll ensure our spaces always make a stunning first and lasting impression.

• Supervise and mentor Public Area Agents, providing daily coaching and training to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards throughout all front and back-of-house areas
• Implement and monitor comprehensive carpet and stone care programs, preserving the luxury aesthetic of our hotel
• Conduct regular inspections of all public spaces, administrative offices, and back-of-house areas, taking immediate corrective action when needed
• Manage contractor relationships and performance, ensuring pest control and other services meet W Hotels’ exacting standards
• Create optimized work schedules and make daily staffing adjustments to ensure efficient operations while maintaining productivity targets
• Oversee inventory management for guest amenities and cleaning supplies, monitoring consumption and placing replacement orders
• Ensure all cleaning equipment receives proper maintenance and that team members follow correct chemical handling procedures

Qualifications

We’re looking for a detail-oriented leader who shares our passion for exceptional standards.

• Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or public areas within a luxury hotel environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemical handling procedures, and surface maintenance (carpet, stone, etc.)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and motivate a diverse team
• Excellent organizational abilities with experience in scheduling, inventory management, and administrative reporting
• Fluency in both English and Chinese to effectively communicate with team members and contractors
• A proactive problem-solver with high standards for cleanliness and attention to detail
