Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the bridge between complex science and practical application. Your core responsibility is to develop and maintain documentation that is both technically precise and user-friendly.
- Research, write, edit, and format a wide range of technical documents, including user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), validation protocols, and manufacturing batch records.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts including scientists, engineers, and quality assurance teams—to gather information and ensure all content is accurate and comprehensive.
- Manage documentation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards (such as GMP/GLP) and internal quality system requirements.
- Utilize advanced content management systems and structured authoring tools (like DITA/XML) to create, update, and maintain documentation efficiently.
- Review and revise existing documents to improve clarity, usability, and compliance, managing updates through formal document control and change management processes.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with a strong blend of scientific understanding, regulatory knowledge, and exceptional writing skill.
- You possess a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, or an advanced degree plus 3 years of experience in technical writing. A background in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, or another regulated industry is highly preferred.
- You have demonstrated expertise with GMP GLP regulations and quality system documentation practices.
- You are proficient with content management systems, DITA XML authoring, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or digital content tools is a strong asset.
- Your skills include superior writing and editing in English, excellent project management for handling multiple priorities, and the proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
