Key Responsibilities
As a Transfer Driver, your day will be varied and centered on the meticulous transport and care of our fleet. You will be the key link between our locations, ensuring equipment is where it needs to be.
- Safely transport U-Haul equipment between our service centers, dealerships, and repair shops.
- Perform thorough visual inspections of vehicles and equipment before and after each transfer.
- Accurately complete all electronic intake paperwork and maintain a detailed driver log.
- Utilize our proprietary mobile technology to manage tasks and document equipment status.
- Adhere to all company policies and Department of Transportation regulations to ensure safety at all times.
Qualifications
We are looking for responsible individuals who are ready to hit the ground running. The essentials you’ll need are:
- A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- The ability to use mobile applications for task management and documentation.
- A keen eye for detail to perform accurate equipment inspections.
- The physical capability to handle work that may involve moving equipment and being on your feet.
- Willingness to obtain D.O.T. certification if required; we can provide sponsorship for this.
