Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components that form the backbone of construction projects. Your key daily duties will include:
- Accurately reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements and layouts.
- Selecting the appropriate welding procedure, equipment, and materials for each task, whether for load-bearing or non-load-bearing joints.
- Performing welding operations to the highest standard, ensuring all work meets stringent quality and structural specifications.
- Conducting thorough inspections of your own welds and workmanship to guarantee the quality and integrity of every pile cage fabricated.
- Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines in a workshop environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for welders who combine technical skill with a professional and reliable work ethic.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven welding experience is essential for this role.
- Practical experience in piling cage fabrication or structural steel welding is highly regarded and a significant advantage.
- The ability to work autonomously, manage your time effectively, and consistently meet deadlines is crucial.
- You must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the initiative to work productively without constant supervision.
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail in all tasks is non-negotiable.
