Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our new packhouse team, your role will be hands-on and essential to our operation. Your duties will include:

• Carefully packing fruit and preparing packing materials to meet specific quality and presentation standards.
• Safely operating bagging and punnet packaging machinery.
• Inspecting produce to identify and remove any substandard fruit, ensuring only the best quality is packed.
• Providing backup support across various positions within the packhouse to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for reliable individuals who embody our values. The ideal candidate will have:

• A reasonable level of fitness to meet the physical demands of a busy, active role.
• Well-developed, clear communication skills and a strong team-oriented approach.
• A keenness to learn, a practical mindset, and the initiative to solve problems.
• Flexibility with working hours to adapt to our seasonal peaks and operational requirements.
• Previous packhouse or similar fast-paced production experience is beneficial but not essential—we provide training.
• Must already have the right to work in New Zealand.
