Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality painting and finishing work across a variety of projects, including commercial builds, residential renovations, and detailed fit-outs.
- Confidently use both spray application and hand techniques to achieve flawless finishes.
- Lead by example, potentially mentoring junior team members and assisting with job coordination.
- Take ownership of your work, ensuring every project meets our high standards for quality and professionalism.
- Be open to upskilling in related trades like plastering and GIB fixing to maintain consistent workflow and broaden your capabilities.
- Represent Finishline with reliability and a strong work ethic on every site.
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- A qualified painter or have 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.
- Highly proficient in both spray application and hand-painting techniques.
- Have experience in leading teams, mentoring, or running jobs.
- A reliable professional who takes immense pride in the quality of your work.
- Someone who is keen to grow with a company long-term, not just collect a pay cheque.
- Must hold relevant New Zealand qualifications or have verifiable experience to meet industry standards.
