Key Responsibilities
As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for the daily presentation and hygiene of the school. Your duties will be essential to the wellbeing of everyone on site and include:
- Performing general cleaning tasks in classrooms, including vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, wiping surfaces, and emptying bins.
- Cleaning and sanitising staff rooms, student and staff amenities, and all communal areas such as hallways and libraries.
- Restocking soap, paper towels, and other essential consumables in bathrooms and kitchens.
- Following detailed cleaning schedules and specific safety procedures for the school site.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in every area you service.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who are dependable and have a keen eye for detail. To be a great fit for our team, you will need:
- A reliable, punctual nature and a strong work ethic.
- The ability to work well independently and cooperatively as part of a small team.
- Good communication skills and a respectful approach.
- A current Working with Children Check, or the willingness to obtain one, is required.
