Your Role And Key Responsibilities
As a senior consultant, you will be a trusted advisor and project lead, ensuring our solutions are robust, compliant, and deliver exceptional value. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Lead functional workstreams on prime Workday Payroll implementations, guiding projects through the full lifecycle from design to deploymen
- Configure complex Workday Payroll solutions, including building intricate payroll calculations and managing multiple FEINs and positions.
- Build strong, strategic relationships with customers, understanding their business needs to shape and deliver fit-for-purpose, commercially sound solutions.
- Apply your deep expertise in Canadian Payroll (required), including tax, garnishments, collective agreements, retirement benefits (RRSPs), and payroll accounting.
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor, providing guidance and support to junior consultants and sharing knowledge across the practice.
- Support the sales process, provide estimates, and contribute to practice improvements in tools and methodologies.
The Essential Expertise You Bring
To excel in this senior role, you must possess a proven track record of delivery and leadership:
- Workday HCM and Canadian Payroll Certification are required. You hold at least 5 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience, with 3 years leading end-to-end implementations in the last 4 years.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex payroll calculations and experience implementing multiple FEINs and positions.
- Outstanding customer-facing skills, with the ability to manage expectations, lead workshops, present to senior audiences, and communicate with impact and empathy.
- Strong commercial awareness, understanding of project dynamics, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- A proven willingness to mentor others, share knowledge, and contribute to the growth of the team and practice.
