Core Responsibilities
1. Personal Protection and Threat Management
- Provide close protection during the executive’s daily schedule, ensuring absolute personal safety.
- Identify potential threats, harassment, or unsafe environments in advance, establishing real‑time response mechanisms.
- When necessary, manage crowds and control access during public events, press conferences, or business functions to maintain a safe perimeter.
2. Advance Work and Itinerary Planning
- Plan primary and alternative routes for daily travel, meetings, and off‑site engagements.
- Conduct advance security surveys of venues, verifying emergency exits, medical points, and privacy safeguards.
- Coordinate closely with the executive’s secretarial team to ensure seamless scheduling while minimizing security risks.
3. Vehicle and Information Security
- Maintain a high level of vigilance against eavesdropping and surveillance, ensuring that conversations and itinerary details remain confidential.
- Collaborate with the executive’s driver team, rotating to drive when needed, using defensive driving techniques to ensure a smooth, private, and secure journey.
4. Crisis Management and Emergency Medical Support
- Possess strong conflict resolution and physical defense skills, enabling quick, decisive action under pressure.
- Manage incidents in compliance with legal boundaries (e.g., self‑defense, emergency avoidance) to protect the company’s reputation.
- Provide basic emergency medical care (CPR/AED/EMT) to handle sudden medical situations.
5. Team Coordination and Ad‑hoc Tasks
- Work flexibly within the security team, adjusting schedules as needed to support the executive’s requirements.
- Assist with occasional ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the executive, such as document or item deliveries.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least five years of close protection experience serving senior executives or C‑suite leaders in publicly listed companies.
- Proven martial arts or self‑defense credentials (e.g., judo, karate, sanda, special forces combat training).
- A valid driver’s licence with a clean record and proficiency in defensive driving.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, based on the executive’s schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in military, police, military police special forces, or VIP protection units.
- Experience in threat assessment, counter‑surveillance, or international security operations.
- Valid EMT‑1 certification or higher.
- Basic English communication skills to accompany the executive on overseas business trips.
