 Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be an integral part of our patient care journey, with duties that include:

  • Providing comprehensive care for both acute injuries and established patients in our clinic and hospital settings.
  • Performing joint injections and managing non-surgical patient follow-ups in the clinic.
  • Serving as a first assist in the operating room, working directly with our orthopedic surgeons.
  • Managing an anticipated clinical volume of 15-20 patients per day once fully onboarded.
  • Collaborating daily with our experienced team of surgeons, APPs, and full support staff including MAs, RNs, and ATCs.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified professional who meets the following criteria:

  • Current licensure as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (with RNFA certification) or a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with the ability to obtain Missouri state licensure.
  • Direct orthopedic surgery experience as an NP or PA post-training is required.
  • Proven experience as a Surgical First Assist.
  • A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.
