Key Responsibilities
You will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations through hands-on mechanical expertise. Your core duties will include:
- Responding promptly to mechanical breakdowns and equipment failures to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and restore functionality with minimal downtime.
- Performing skilled welding, with a strong emphasis on TIG welding techniques, for fabricating parts, repairing equipment frames, and modifying components as needed.
- Conducting routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of manufacturing machinery and mechanical systems to ensure peak operational efficiency and longevity.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to guide repair and installation work.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Assisting with inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies, and documenting all work performed in maintenance logs.
Qualifications
We are looking for a practical and reliable technician with a solid foundation in mechanical work. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a mechanical maintenance, repair, or technician role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in TIG welding is highly desirable and considered a key skill for this position.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and reassemble industrial equipment.
- A proactive and self-motivated work ethic, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
