Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, adjust, and maintain large electric or pneumatic control systems for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
- Calibrate instruments, gauges, and control components with precision to ensure system accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough inspections and ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment failures, identifying and implementing the best course of action for repairs or modifications.
- Manage and maintain optimal stock levels for HVAC materials, supplies, and components to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications
A high school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma combined with two to three years of job‑related experience is required. A combination of experience and education will be considered. EPA Universal certification is mandatory. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of an apprenticeship program are preferred. The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting and carrying loads of 50 pounds or more, is essential. Proven ability to utilize existing procedures to solve standard problems and address technical challenges effectively is required. Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices to make sound judgments and decisions is important. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for documentation and communication is necessary. Strong organizational skills coupled with an inquisitive mindset, eager to learn and improve processes, are key.
