Your Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the lead hands-on expert in the field, responsible for the proper deployment of complex systems. Your key duties will include:

  • Leading and performing hands-on installation of environmental remediation systems, including groundwater treatment systems, Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) units, and free product recovery systems.
  • Excavating and managing contaminated soil in accordance with strict safety and regulatory protocols.
  • Interpreting project plans and specifications to ensure installations comply with the pre-approval program requirements.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues with remediation equipment in the field.
  • Conducting all work with the highest regard for safety, adhering to and often leading by example in OSHA and company-specific safety standards.
  • Traveling regularly for project assignments, which include out-of-town and potentially international locations, with a significant focus on Florida.
  • Completing detailed field documentation and reports related to installation activities and system startup.

Required Expertise

This position requires specific, verifiable experience and certifications. The qualified candidate must have:

  • A minimum of two years of direct, hands-on experience installing environmental remediation systems.
  • Specific, practical experience with: groundwater treatment systems, Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE), Free Product Recovery, and contaminated soil excavation.
  • A current, valid OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training certificate.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with complex piping, pumps, and treatment equipment.
  • A strong, intrinsic safety consciousness and a track record of working safely in potentially hazardous environments.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in varied field conditions.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake significant out-of-town travel, including to Florida and potentially international locations.
