You’ll be at the heart of our operation inspecting wooden pallets, using industrial nail guns and saws to replace damaged boards, and making split-second decisions about structural integrity. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Inspect Pallets for Damage: You’ll examine pallets for wear, structural issues, and damage, deciding what needs repair and what can be salvaged.
  • Repair Pallets Using Industrial Tools: Use nail guns, power saws, and hand tools to remove damaged boards, replace them with quality lumber, and reinforce weak areas.
  • Remove and Replace Nails: Part of the repair process involves pulling old nails and securing new boards properly.
  • Follow Safety Procedures: You’ll wear proper PPE at all times and follow all safety protocols. No shortcuts.
  • Perform Routine Tool Maintenance: Keep your equipment in good working order—well-maintained tools work better and last longer.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work alongside others to meet daily production goals. Teamwork makes the shift go smoother.
  • Maintain a Clean Work Area: A tidy workspace is a safe workspace. You’ll help keep things organised.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years in manual labor or a similar field.
  • Tool Familiarity: Comfortable using nail guns, power saws, and/or hand tools.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift for 8 to 10 hours per shift.
  • Warehouse Tolerance: Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with dust, noise, and changing temperatures.
  • Reliable Transportation: You need to get to work on time, every day, and be available for overtime when needed.
  • Manual Dexterity: Good hand skills and tactile sensitivity for inspecting pallet condition.
  • Communication: Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions and safety alarms.
  • Excellent Vision: Including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus—essential for inspecting pallets and staying aware of your surroundings.

Pay Rate and Performance Incentives

  • Guaranteed Base Pay: $18.00 per hour
  • Performance-Based Increases: Earn a higher hourly rate based on your weekly Repairs Per Hour (RPH)
  • Top Earning Potential: High performers hitting top production tiers can earn up to $28.00 per hour
  • Alternative Roles: If assigned a role other than repair, a flat rate of $18.00 per hour applies

Work Environment
