Key Responsibilities
As a Super Sweet Seller, you will be the key to our customers’ happiness. Your core mission will include:
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere by warmly greeting every customer and providing genuinely friendly, attentive service from the moment they walk in.
- Engaging customers by offering free fudge tastings and sharing your enthusiasm to help them explore our huge, colourful range of treats.
- Using your product knowledge to assist with thoughtful recommendations and answer any questions about our delicious offerings.
- Maintaining vibrant, eye-catching, and well-organised displays that reflect the fun and quality of our brand.
- Operating the point-of-sale system accurately, handling cash and card transactions with care.
- Ensuring the store remains a clean, colourful, and inviting space for everyone, supporting daily operations like stock replenishment and tidying.
Qualifications
We are looking for people whose personality is as sweet as our products. Here’s what makes a great fit:
What You Bring:
- Exceptional customer service skills and a naturally friendly, upbeat, and positive personality.
- A genuine love for confectionery (especially fudge!) or, even better, a love for sharing it and making others smile.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills you’re confident, enthusiastic, and a true team player.
- Full flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, with the ability to travel between our Queenstown, Arrowtown, and Airport locations as needed.
- A reliable, can-do attitude and a passion for creating magical experiences.
Bonus Points (But Not Essential):
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
