Key Responsibilities
As a Production Technician, you will be essential to the smooth operation of our high-speed lines. Your primary duties will include:
- Operating and monitoring multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, packers, and palletizers.
- Performing production, packaging, and product changeovers efficiently to meet the production schedule.
- Conducting required quality inspections to ensure all products meet our high standards for package and product integrity.
- Performing basic troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Safely handling raw materials and finished products, including lifting and moving cases weighing 20-45 pounds.
- Maintaining impeccable cleanliness and sanitization standards in your work area, following all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Accurately recording production data, machine downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Working effectively as part of a team in a 24/7 operational environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable individuals with relevant experience in a manufacturing setting. The requirements are:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience in a high-speed production environment is highly beneficial.
- Helpful experience includes operating filler, packing, or palletizer machines, performing basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, and understanding GMP-sanitation procedures.
- Ability to read production schedules and basic blueprints/schematics.
- Comfort using computers in a manufacturing setting for machine control and data entry.
- Must be physically capable of lifting 20-45 lbs repeatedly, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing bending-stooping.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and reliable attendance.
