Key Responsibilities
In this field-based role, you will be the frontline expert ensuring system integrity and client confidence. Your primary duties will include:
- Performing on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs for Building Management Systems (BMS) at client facilities.
- Responding promptly to emergency service calls, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective solutions to minimize system downtime.
- Conducting system testing, calibration, and commissioning activities under the guidance of project engineers.
- Providing clear technical support and reporting to clients on-site, maintaining a professional standard of service.
- Completing detailed service reports and documentation for all work performed.
- Collaborating with the engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a practical mindset and a commitment to quality. The following qualifications will guide our selection:
- Relevant technical diploma or certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- For Senior Technician/Assistant Supervisor roles: Considerable hands-on experience in BMS, HVAC controls, or ELV system maintenance. Possession of relevant technical licenses (e.g., electrical worker license) is a strong advantage.
- For Technician roles: Some practical experience in a technical field is beneficial.
- For Junior Technician roles: We welcome applicants with less or no experience; a keen interest in building systems technology and a willingness to learn are essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on client sites.
- Good communication skills in Cantonese; basic English reading ability for technical manuals is required.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
