Key Responsibilities
In this fast-paced distribution environment, you will be responsible for critical warehouse functions. Your daily tasks will include:
- Operating a Crown Tugger (or similar) to efficiently move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Using voice-picking technology to accurately select and fulfill customer orders at a high pace.
- Performing repetitive manual handling tasks, including lifting items up to 20kg.
- Meeting and maintaining daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for picking accuracy and productivity.
- Adhering to all site safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Being available for overtime as required, including early starts, late finishes, and potential weekend work during peak periods.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:
- A minimum of 1 year of recent, verifiable experience in both voice picking and tugger driving. Experience with Crown Tuggers is highly preferred.
- The physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and comfortably lift up to 20kg.
- A proven track record of excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet demanding KPIs.
- Availability to commit to a rotating Monday to Friday schedule on either AM (6am-2pm) or PM (3pm-11pm) shifts, with flexibility for required overtime.
- Must be able to provide at least 2 professional references and 100 points of ID.
