 Key Responsibilities
As a Fleet Driver with our company, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely operating your assigned late-model commercial truck to transport freight, averaging 2,500-3,000 miles per week.
- Adhering to a structured schedule that allows for predictable home time, typically involving regional runs (1 week out + 34-hour reset) or longer OTR hauls (2-3 weeks out + 2 days home).
- Maintaining detailed and accurate electronic logs using the provided E-Road ELD system and complying with all hours-of-service regulations.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Taking responsibility for the company truck assigned to you, including securing it at your home location with company assistance if needed.
Qualifications
This position is for qualified CDL drivers. To be considered, you must have:
- A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- A minimum of one year of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) or regional driving experience.
- A strong commitment to safety and a history of clean roadside inspections (a bonus is offered for this).
- The ability to be away from home for the scheduled periods (1 week for regional, 2-3 weeks for OTR).
- Professionalism, reliability, and good communication skills.
