Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing goods with accuracy, ensuring all deliveries are properly checked and recorded.
- Load and unload items from delivery vehicles, organizing them in designated storage areas to maintain an orderly warehouse.
- Operate electric pallet trucks safely and efficiently to move stock around the facility.
- Assist in periodic stock take activities, helping to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, following safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Support the team with any other operational duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Candidates should be physically fit and able to handle the demands of a warehouse environment, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts is essential, as the distribution centre operates seven days a week. A basic ability to understand and follow instructions in simple English is required. Experience operating an electric pallet truck is highly preferred, though on the job training can be provided for motivated individuals. Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse role is an advantage but not mandatory.
