Key Responsibilities
You’ll be the crucial link between our inventory and our customers. Your key duties will include:
- Managing a variety of warehouse logistics: receiving full container shipments, picking and packing individual customer orders with accuracy and care.
- Safely moving and lifting heavy items regularly, using equipment like hand trolleys and pallet jacks.
- Assisting with inventory management, stocktaking, and maintaining an organised warehouse.
- Operating a forklift to sort and stack pallets (training can be provided for the right candidate).
- Providing friendly, direct customer service at our retail counter, handling inquiries, and processing in-person sales.
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager with daily tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Self-motivated, proactive, and enjoys a fast-paced, varied work environment.
- Physically capable of safely and regularly lifting heavy items.
- A team player with a positive, friendly outlook and great communication skills.
- Experienced with warehouse operations, inventory systems, picking, and packing (preferred).
- Familiar with operating a forklift; a licence is a strong advantage but not a strict requirement as training is available.
- Reliable, with a strong safety mindset and excellent attention to detail.
