Key Responsibilities

As a Runner, you are the essential support person ensuring our collections run smoothly and safely. Your core duties will include:

• Working alongside the driver to operate our vehicles and onboard waste collection equipment efficiently.
• Assisting with providing a safe, timely, and courteous collection service to all our customers.
• Helping to ensure all safety procedures and protocols are followed meticulously on every run.
• Performing vehicle and equipment checks and basic maintenance as directed.
• Representing our company professionally in all customer interactions.

Qualifications

We value attitude and reliability as much as experience. To be successful, you’ll need:

• A strong, dependable work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude a good sense of humour is a bonus!
• The physical fitness and capability to perform the demanding tasks of the role.
• A clean, current Class 1 (or above) New Zealand driver’s licence is a distinct advantage.
• The ability to drive a manual transmission is also highly beneficial.
• NZ Residency is mandatory for this position.
• A willingness to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
