Key Responsibilities

You will play a dual role that is central to the daily health and happiness of the children and staff.

• Plan, prepare, and cook daily nutritious meals and snacks for children and staff, adhering to basic dietary guidelines.
• Maintain impeccable hygiene in the kitchen, pantry, and all food preparation areas, following food safety standards.
• Perform thorough daily cleaning of classrooms, children’s toilets, and all common areas to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Manage supplies, refill stock, and handle rubbish disposal efficiently.
• Assist with food preparation and service during special centre events or functions.

Qualifications

We are looking for a responsible and caring individual with a focus on hygiene.

• A valid Food Handling or Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene practices, and a willingness to learn childcare-specific protocols.
• A caring, patient, and reliable disposition, suitable for working in a childcare environment.
• No prior professional experience in a similar role is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
