Key Responsibilities

Your work will help maintain the pristine beauty and functionality of Wanaka’s public areas.

  • Perform rubbish collection and disposal from parks, reserves, and public bins across the Wanaka region.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitise public amenities, including barbeques, bus shelters, picnic tables, and seating areas.
  • Maintain and clean public bathroom facilities, restocking supplies and ensuring a high standard of hygiene.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly as required for the role.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to complete daily schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards.
  • Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable team player who enjoys an active, outdoor role.

  • A full, clean driver’s licence with the ability to confidently drive a manual vehicle.
  • A good level of physical fitness and a genuine desire to work in an outdoor, hands-on role in all weather conditions.
  • A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A high awareness of health and safety practices and a commitment to following procedures.
  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning, maintenance, or outdoor role is preferred but not essential.

  3. I was an ofw before in middle East for 10 yrs with different work. Like i was a gift wrapper at the same time at night a companion with elderly. Taking care of baby, as a family cook and a housekeeper. I would live to work as a cleaner to join as a team if given by chance i am passport holder.
