We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Domestic Services Attendant to join our residential team on a casual basis. Key Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, office space, and staff rooms to high standards.
• Clean and maintain storage areas, ensuring organization and accessibility.
• Maintain stock levels and keep the cleaners’ room tidy and well-stocked.
• Clean duplex bathrooms and laundries on a scheduled cycle.
• Perform cleaning duties as per the established schedule.
• Assist the Food Services and Laundry teams when necessary.
• Abide by Wintringham’s infection control procedures at all times.
• Follow all health and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members and residents.
• Work autonomously when required and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is mandatory.
• Knowledge and understanding of the special needs of older people.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
• Physically able to perform required tasks including standing, bending, and lifting.
• Reliability and punctuality essential.

Competitive pay rates: $30.04 – $30.82 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, plus 25% casual loading.
